Brewing Tips for the Perfect KO Coffee Cup

Brewing Tips for the Perfect KO Coffee Cup

Achieving the perfect cup of KO Coffee is an art form. Here are some expert tips to help you brew the best cup every time:

1. Use Fresh, Quality Beans:

Always start with fresh KO Coffee beans. Our beans are roasted to perfection and sealed to maintain their freshness and flavour.

2. Grind Just Before Brewing:

For the best flavour, grind your beans just before brewing. The size of the grind should match your brewing method: coarse for French press, medium for drip coffee makers, and fine for espresso.

3. Measure Precisely:

Use the right coffee-to-water ratio. A general guideline is 1 to 2 tablespoons of coffee per 6 ounces of water, but feel free to adjust to your taste preference.

4. Water Matters:

Use filtered water to avoid any impurities that could affect the taste of your coffee. The water temperature should be just below boiling, around 200°F (93°C).

5. Time Your Brew:

Different brewing methods require different brewing times. For example, drip coffee usually takes around 4-5 minutes, while a French press takes about 4 minutes of steeping before pressing.

6. Clean Your Equipment:

Regularly clean your coffee maker to ensure the best flavour. Residue from previous brews can negatively impact the taste of your fresh coffee.
